So much has been said and written around the problems of this world that arise as a result of poor communication. My personal view is that the problem is one that should be considered from the perspective of the energy grid within which we live, and that we are born into. What we do while living on this planet, might look like physical actions, but most of what we do is done by using our thoughts and words. We even give effect to our hidden beliefs and attitudes through silence. All of this happens within the energy grid that holds everything that is. With that said, it is also true that poor communication has an energy signature that is traceable. Unravelling this signature can help us to understand the issue and see where we could make things better. For example, silence is a form of communication, and therefore a way of wielding energy within the grid of existence. My mother used to say that silence is also an answer. Indeed it is. When communication has been sent one’s way, and it is met by silence, the result is usually negative. Why? Because silence is one of the most violent forms of communication. Within marriages, it is often used against the other spouse, and one just has to talk to a victim of such abuse through silence, to know that it is harmful. Wielding silence as a form of communication is much more than mere rudeness. Yet there are many reasons for silence used as a response to incoming communication. Silence often covers up inadequacies and many people hope to hide something behind their unwillingness, or inability, to respond at all, let alone appropriately. But what happens when one chooses silence as an answer, instead of responding in a way appropriate to the circumstances? The other person on the receiving end of the silence has no option but to interpret that silence. One merely has to think about Insight Timer‘s public yet one-sided debate with Apple, which refuses to come to the table with them to discuss the meditation platform’s reasonable concerns around Apple demanding 30% of their teachers’ donations. Big business is good at wielding silence as an energy tool – and they get away with it too. On the other side of the coin, there is the valid view that sometimes silence is golden. That can be true. But do not be fooled for a moment that by staying silent, you are not communicating. If you have a problem with what is being said to you, it takes courage to say so. Not everyone has such courage. They prefer to stay silent. Does this resolve the issue? No, but it is easier. The result is poor communication, which sows the seeds of chaos through the inevitable interpretation of that communication. From an energy perspective, poor communication is never clear, and its fruit is determined by how the receiver decides to interpret that communication. Silence is a form of poor communication, and as such, it is an Agent of Chaos, sowing seeds of chaos as it moves through the energy grid within which we have to navigate our way in this life. It is by far better to state clearly that you do not agree with the other person, and leave it at that. If you do not wish to discuss the matter further, then say that. It is perfectly in order to want to prevent arguments. Silence does not do that. Silence is a weapon. Weapons do not prevent arguments. Good communication and clarity do that.
The presence of all kinds of Agents of Chaos causes much pain and gives rise to unhappiness within relationships and among co-workers or family members. Agents of Chaos can be anything, but in human relations these are the people who lack the ability to communicate with clarity. It spills over into their work, their relationships, and literally every sphere of life. Let’s take the example of the workplace. Those who do not pay attention to detail, are not the ones who get the job done. They are the ones who happily go about their business, showing up for work and getting on with the day without paying too much attention to the result of their actions and decisions. Their colleagues run around trying to fix what has been done without attention to detail, having to work around issues that arose as a result of a lack of clear and proper communication, and in general, find themselves burdened with problems that should not have been created in the first place. This sad state of affairs exists in all forms of human relationships. Some people have powerful abilities to communicate clearly, and they are the ones who have to work around the clock to keep chaos at bay by paying attention to detail when no one else (in the relationship, household, workplace, etc.) cares to do so. It is so very easy to be an Agent of Chaos. I recently posted a quote by Radon on my Facebook page: “Chaos comes naturally and is easy to sustain, but to create and sustain order, requires intent.” That sounds like an awful lot of work, because it is. Every person has a choice to be an Agent of Chaos, or not. The Creator made a beautiful world out of chaos – and for that, intent was required. Perhaps while we live in this world made for us, we can also try to make something beautiful out of the chaos around us. And if we fail, we can try again another day. But if we never try, we will simply remain Agents of Chaos. Were you made to be an Agent of Chaos, or was the intention that you would grow into something beautiful, capable of creating with intent?
