It took a very long time for me to hear the call of Mother Earth. Her voice has always been there, subtle, whispering at the back of my mind. And now the time has come for me to pay attention to her pleas. I am finally free, and strong enough, to do so.
There is so much power nestled in the human mind once it decides to stop worrying about who is right about what, and to drop the boundaries that have been instilled in all of us since the day we were born. We all ended up in a home and a culture and a belief system which were not of our choosing – not while we were in human form at least. Not everyone remembers that. This does not stop anyone from believing in things and in ways which exclude others, and separate us from each other.
But such is life, filled with war and strife fuelled by differing beliefs. What is relevant, however, is that all of us are seated on the same little ball in space. And regardless of whether you are concerned about the state of this round, spinning object we refer to as Earth, the fact remains that you and everyone you know (unless you have some celestial friends), are all living on this planet. This is the home you will one day leave behind for your children and their children. You might also have to call this planet home for a good number of years to come.
So it might be safe to say that all of the members of humanity have at least one thing in common: Mother Earth. I am sure some would find something to disagree about around that too, and some would insist the planet is called Earth, and it is not anyone’s mother. It is quite irrelevant how anyone perceives Earth. The important point is that we are all taking something from the planet. She was made to support life, ours, and has done so admirably while managing to replenish herself whenever needed, despite her heavy burden. She will continue to do so, as was intended.
Yet, we have done more than take from her what we need to stay alive. We have left a lot of stuff on her surface, and in the field that surrounds her. I am not referring to the environment; that is another battle being fought by others. I am talking about the blood that has been spilled on her soil, the tears that have been shed, the terror that has had free rein on the planet’s surface since the very beginning. Sacrifices, murder and needless killing, rape, torture. There is a long list of things that mankind has come up with to perpetrate against others. And Mother Earth has been forced to bear those things on her surface, to witness them as the trees watched in silence what happened beneath their branches. She has had to absorb the blood spilled, and the tears cried. Her mountains echoed with the screams of terror, and the pain of all living things leaked into her energy field, a field she shares with all life on her planes and in her waters. There is nothing new under the sun.
But Earth’s load has become heavy, and her own suffering and tears are plainly visible to those who care to take the time to be still, and to connect with her. So here is my invitation to you. I have pledged my time and intention to pour nothing but pure loving energy into her field, helping to clear the dark energy that has accumulated on the planet’s surface, and within her field as mankind goes about its daily business. It is good to remember that while humans do great harm, even when they try not to do so, they are also capable of moving mountains. The human mind is a powerful manifesting mechanism. I am asking you to lend your mind in service of the Earth. Imagine thousands of human minds focused on the same thing for a set period of time. What could happen if we drop the boundaries our culture, religion, race, belief system and collective prejudices have imposed on us? What if, for a moment in time, we choose to act together, using the one powerful tool we were all given, no matter how much we want to believe that our particular group knows a little better than everyone else around us, and that our specific belief is the only true one? Can we get over ourselves for long enough to see that miracles abound and are there for everyone, not just for some? I hope some of us can. And if you have continued reading up to this point, you probably can.
I invite you to join me on this quest, and to take part in the Earth Light Meditations that I intend to host wherever and whenever possible. What you will contribute is the power of your beautiful mind and the power of your intention. What it will cost you to be part of the quest, is a little bit of the time you have been allotted to spend on this planet. On this quest I will lead some of the Earth Light Meditations via webinar, others I will lead surrounded by a small circle of friends, and even more I will lead where larger groups of people can gather. I have no doubt Gaia will show us where she needs us to focus the healing light that our minds can shine on her the most. If you wish to join me on this quest, please send me an email at cathy@masterstouch.co.za. I will add your name to the list of Earth Lighters and keep you informed of each event, whether online or in person. We will focus on specific places or areas, events in history, and even practices which resulted in darkness spreading on our planet. Let’s light up our home world, by lightening and clearing her surface to help turn the tide of fear and darkness forever. Now is the time. I would welcome your presence on this quest. And Mother Earth would love you for it.
