Day 6: 17 March 2025
As is proper when one has received so much from life, it was time to turn in and to be grateful for all we had received. It was the last day in Cusco. We took part in an Andean prayer ceremony, which entailed a beautiful blessing, but also allowed each participant to write a letter to the Creator, asking for our deepest heart’s desire.

Each of us had brought a favourite crystal to Peru, to gift to the Earth, by leaving it in the Andes mountains. We headed across the road from Casa de la Gringa to the Temple of the Moon which we had visited two days earlier, right after our San Pedro ceremony. The beautiful mountain had captured a place in our hearts, and leaving a crystal which had great personal meaning to each of us there within the folds of the mountain, was our own gratitude offering.

I left mine in the crystal clear pool right outside the dimensional doorway which I had approached two days earlier, where my life had changed – again. My beautiful, polished, clear quartz crystal which had rested in my palm more times than I can count, now lies amongst the rocks in the pool of fresh, clear Andean mountain water, where it catches the blessed rays of the sun, and reflects them back up to the sky, right next to the dimensional doorway.
Two of us stayed at the mountain house to begin packing and to try to get a little rest, while the others went back to the market in Cusco to do their last minute shopping, before sitting down to enjoy our last delicious dinner in Cusco at Casa de la Gringa.
